Step 1.  Getting Ready

You must have your website set up before the custom design process begins.  Self hosted means that you have purchased a domain name (www.yoursitename.com) AND you have purchased a monthly/yearly hosting plan for that domain through a hosting provider.  If you do not have a domain name and/or hosting, I would recommend that you contact Go Daddy.  They are particularly WordPress friendly and you can purchase your domain name and hosting all in one place.  It is super easy to do yourself.

If you have any questions or issues, or feel that you are in over your head, contact the customer service people  to help you through the process.  They have ALL of the answers and can help you through the process. If you would like us to get your domain and hosting up and running with WordPress, that can be added to your package, for an additional cost.  But I assure you, that you can do this step yourself easily and without much stress.

If you already have a domain, and just need to install WordPress, contact the service where you bought your domain name and ask them to help you install WordPress on your site.  Some do not offer hosting for WordPress…it is important that you know that before we begin.  If that is the case, you can always transfer your domain to another host, like Go Daddy.

Step 3.  WordPress Add Ons:

  • Existing Page Content Transfer – $100 includes 10 pages  |  each additional page $10
  • Use of Stock Images – You select the image(s) and provide links – Cost of image will be added to your package
  • WordPress Domain and Site Hosting Set Up – $500
  • WordPress Installation on Existing Site – $100
  • MailChimp Setup and Autoresponder – $75
  • MailChimp Newsletter Design – $100
  • Event Calendar PlugIn – $100 – Does not include entry of all events/dates.
  • Wufoo Form Creation Setup – Embed Forms into Site $100
  • Woo Commerce Shopping Cart – $400.  The flat fee includes the entry of 10 of your products into your shopping cart page and installation of shopping cart software including settings for shipping, variations and emails.   • Custom Instructional Videos for your Individual Theme/Site Design $100 – 4 videos
  • WordPress Site Tweaks – $25.00 per hour / 1 hour minimum
